Microsoft Supports

Microsoft in support of kids with disabilities

By WALAA HAWARI | ARAB NEWS

RIYADH: The Disabled Children's Association received Saturday the first donation generated by Microsoft Arabia's campaign, which donated SR25 from each sale of Microsoft programs included in the campaign.

The campaign, entitled “Support Them,” was launched in April 2010 and will continue indefinitely, according to a source in the company.

“Microsoft believes strongly in the importance of building societies in accordance with a knowledge foundation to achieve quality,” said Microsoft Arabia's Vice President for Social Responsibilities and Education Programs, Mamdooh Al-Najjar.

The campaign, Al-Najjar pointed out, provided income to support special-needs children's programs, rehabilitation programs, developing and building new utilities and the association's latest international educational and rehabilitation methods.
