About Our Program : Helping Hands Educational Program is a private “natural environment” based  special education provider offering support services for children ages 0-18 years old with diagnosed special needs such as Down’s syndrome, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum  Learning Disabilities, developmental delays, cognitive delays and other special needs in their home, on a case-by-case basis.  


Enrollment:
Helping Hands Support Services currently cater to children living in Jeddah, KSA. Children should be between the ages of 0 and 18 years old with mild, moderate or severe disabilities. Each child and family  is assessed before the start of support services. Parents interested in our support services should send inquires by:

Support Services Provided:
Helping Hands Educational Program asks that parents enroll their children into the program for a minimum of six (6) weeks

Assessment fee: 300 SR

  • Family education, training and counseling:   2,000 SR (3 sessions)  
 Non- medical assistance provided to assist the family in understanding the special needs of their child and enhancing the child’s development by providing additional services for the family or providing information about other services. Also included are parent support group scheduling, exchange of much needed information and materials (i.e books, pamphlets, etc)  and counseling sessions. 
  • Developmental Therapy:        4,000 SR (12 sessions)
Focuses on the child’s development and ways to promote the entire development of the child. Including: cognitive development, gross and fine motor development, communication development, social and emotional development as well as self help development
  • Intervention Services:          4,000 SR ( 12 sessions)
Intervention services depend upon the unique needs of the child and family. Intervention is a system of support for children and their families wherein a specialist tries to bridge the developmental gap and lessen the effects of the disability for the special needs child and their family through play, one-on-one interaction, reading activities, and more.  
  • Specialized Instruction:         4,000 SR (12 sessions)
Unique instructional services created to fit the specific needs of the child.  The instruction usually covers areas in modifying and making adaption’s to lessons, materials and teaching techniques so they are understood better by the child.

  • Service Coordination:            800 SR (one month service)
Ensures that families are well informed of rights, services, resources and opportunities for themselves and their children within the city. Specialists assist families in obtaining additional resource information, making appointments, and organizing beneficial information as well as performing as an advocate for the family in addition to helping with transitioning between programs and schools.  



  • Other Services:                 250 SR per session
Other individualized services not covered elsewhere and have been requested by parents




 

** All of our Support Services are completed in the home of the child and family. Fees cover materials needed as well as transportation for the Specialist.**
