The Study of My People
Epidemiology is the study of how often diseases occur in different groups of people and why. Epidemiological information is used to plan and evaluate strategies to prevent illnesses as a guidance to the management of patients who diseases has already developed.
All the findings must relate to a defined population of people. The studies should be oriented towards groups and not people. The conclusions of the study are based on comparisons.
